Ready, Set, Seek!

Ready, Set, Seek!

The blah-bug has dissipated. And I am ready for the New Year.

¬After a very hectic seven months in 2007, the end of the year brought a restful hiatus. With manuscripts sent to editors, speaking events winding down, and my new house feeling like home, I relaxed. I read a few great books. I enjoyed precious time with my family. I reflected on the birth of our Savior and the priceless gift of my relationship with Immanuel—God with us—Jesus.
Now with enthusiasm and renewed energy, I am excited about what the Lord Jesus will bring about in 2008. How about you?

“Hear my voice when I call, O Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.
My heart says of you, "Seek his face!"
Your face, Lord, I will seek.” (Psalm 27:7-8 NIV

Good Sunday morning, What a way to begin the new year - seeking His face. How could we go wrong, stumble, tremble, or fumble if we began each day focused on Him. Never forget: mi casa es su casa (my house is your house)

Oh, you sound so restful!! That's wonderful!
I have to be honest, I'm still enjoying my "sitting around" time. School starts back tomorrow which means I have to go back to work, too. I'm gonna ask God for some of your enthusiasm for the New Year. You're right. God has good things ahead for each of us!Here we GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
hugs,
Micca

You do sound rested. I took some time this morning after the kids were gone to create that relaxed place. It was so refreshing. I am excited for this year. My motto is "life is great in 08".

I have started the year renewed, too. Now I'm just working toward staying still long enough to really hear Jesus' voice and direction. It is a gift to serve Him with you!
