Blah-bug

The New Year is always a time of new invigorating ideas, thoughts, and of course, resolutions. My 2008 is starting with a new book contract with New Hope Publishers. I am excited to experience and write this book on the Names of God. I anticipate a deeper relationship developing with my Jesus as I delve into His character and divine attributes.

Oh, but today is only December 31st. The blah-bug strikes. Today is a day for reconciling checking accounts, tax payments, and cleaning off the top of my desk. As I type, I have piles of paperwork that needs to be completed, before I can begin enjoying the New Year. Yup, I have the blah-bug.

I hope it’s not contagious, as my husband’s desk looks just like mine. Let’ me know if the blah-bug strikes you.

See you next year!

I followed you here from the Proverbs 31 Devotion. Often times, I've forgotten that He has given me peace and authority over my enemies (which includes fear of anything). Thank you for that gentle reminder.

Blah-bug? Yes, it happens all the time, so I decided to take a day and clean yesterday. I cleaned all day and haven't finished one room. But, I've cleared two trash bag full of extra things I didn't need in my bedroom/office. That's good. I'm planning to spend the rest of today to clean my garage. God is good.

Hey Suzanne - I think I have a solution to chase your blah-bug away... catch my spa-bug instead!

Mosey over to my blog and find a few tips for soothing that psyche and pampering that body. And read the comments becuase Zoe, Bonita and others had some good ideas to offer as well.

The desk can wait - go enjoy a little spa ahhh time.
